Cost of Grading

There are no restrictions to the type or size of park that may apply for grading, and all parks applying for grading will be assessed annually.

A R56.00 application fee. (First time applications only.)
R674.00 plus R17.00 per site used for transient guests. (That is the amount of sites for caravanning and camping in the resort.) A ceiling of 151 sites has been set for resorts with more than 150 sites.
The Assessor will supply a pro-forma invoice. Once all the relevant paperwork and payments have been affected, the Tourism Grading Council will issue you with an official invoice.
Assessments for grading will only be authorised once the Tourism Grading Council is in receipt of the application form completed and duly signed and the cost of the assessment has been paid in full to the Tourism Grading Council.
Once the Tourism Grading Council has approved the Assessment, you will receive a full report and certificate on the grading of your resort. A wall plaque for display will also be supplied, and the cost for the Aluminium Brushed Gold Plaque Mounted (African Rose Wood) is R342.00 incl VAT, (approx. 200 x 300mm) or for the un-mounted Plaque, R283.83 incl VAT, depicting your Star Grading, and this will be invoiced under seperate cover by Global Gold - Johannesburg.

The fees exclude V.A.T.
